21 Oct

Party at full swing!

Thank you all to those who came to join me last night to help me celebrate the launch of my new book Thrifty Style! It was a really fun night full of great conversation, fabulous themed cakes and stunning views of the Bristol Cityscape Harbourside. Thank you to Ali from Bristol Vintage and Alia from Hundreds and Thousands Cakes for helping me provide the perfect atmosphere for the party of my dreams! Keep on recycling

Creatively Recycling feature individuals and companies who creatively recycle and I’m delighted to be featured. Do check out their website – I’m in good company!  They also have some exciting news that 2013 will be the year that they hold their first Creatively Recycling Fair – definitely one to look out for.

Thanks again for the lovely review.

Christmas at the Orangery

11 Oct

I’m thrilled to be exhibiting at this year’s Christmas at the Orangery. On Saturday, 15th December between 10 and 5pm you’ll find me at Bradbury Hall, Henleaze.  There are some lovely exhibitors. They’ve even written about me (thank you, Rachel Goodchild) – you can read the whole post here.  Oh and the entrance fee is only £1 (free to under 16s).

On the day I’ll be demonstrating some clever sewing techniques as well as fabulous ways to embellish and upscale your vintage finds. I’ll also be signing copies of my new book, “Thrifty Style” (a perfect Christmas present for the vintage lover and seamstress in your life). Come along and ask me about vintage, styling, eco design and personal shopping. See you there!

At Natasha Bailie Vintage Clothing Co. each piece for sale is carefully sourced from vintage fairs, antique stores and private collections. Her Singapore vintage clothing emporium is an Aladdin’s cave of jewel colours, magnificent tulle and timeless shapes, and every piece is one-of-a-kind, so you won’t bump into a fellow Betty stealing your style!

Thanks for the lovely review Natasha.
